Info for AMA 2021

"A Mountain Apart" 2021 is just around the corner. We anticipate a great work of the Holy Ghost as we gather in the mountains starting Monday, June 7. Here are a few details we would like to share to help you prepare for campmeeting next week:

  • Temperatures: It looks like we will have beautiful weather, with high temps in the 80s and lows in the 50s. The campground is at high elevation, so you can sunburn without feeling hot. Please consider hats, sunscreen, and how to stay hydrated with a refillable water bottle. Many people find that they want a light jacket for the cool nights.
  • Bedding in dorms: Please remember that you must bring your bedding and towels for all dorms except Forrest Lodge. You may want to bring an extra layer of some kind to go between the vinyl mattress and your bedding.
  • Forrest Lodge is not providing blankets/comforters this year, so please bring your own. All other pillows, linens, and towels are provided in Forrest Lodge.
  • The campground serves three FULL meals per day, but if you would like something from the Snack Bar after evening service you would need some extra cash.
  • The only extra charge for recreation options is the Trail Ride on horseback. The cost is $25 and you can register on Monday at the Welcome Center.
  • All of NM is currently in the Turquoise level of the state re-opening plan. The official mask policy in NM currently is: "Masks are recommended indoors unless you are fully vaccinated." The campground will have signs posted, but the staff will not be enforcing any mask mandate.
  • We have included a Packing List on the Forms page to assist your preparation for camp.

  • If you have not yet completed the Camp Waiver/release forms for the Sacramento campground either in print or online, please follow  this link  to complete the forms online.
As always, please contact us with questions: aMountainApart@gmail.com

AMA 2015 registration deadline...

Our hosts at the Sacramento campground have a motto: "Radical Hospitality".  They always have everything ship-shape when we arrive, they are more than willing to accommodate any request, and they put out a delicious and nutritious meal three times a day.
We all just enjoy it and put our minds and hearts into prayer, worship and the preaching of the Word!
In order to allow our campground hosts to do their jobs so well, we provide them with accurate counts and updates in the weeks preceding "A Mountain Apart".

Right now we are 14 days from our Registration Deadline:

May 13, 2015

We ask that you print out your forms and send them to our address by that date so that we can provide accurate counts to our hosts in Sacramento.  If you have any questions, or if there is anything we can help you with, please contact us:

"A Mountain Apart" 2014!

Last weekend we visited the campground in Sacramento, NM for a planning session.  "A Mountain Apart" June 3-5, 2014 is going to be GREAT!  We are excited about all the folks that will be coming to AMA for the first time and many that will be coming again, from near and far.  We are looking forward to the beautiful rest and refreshing of the presence of the Lord, the encouragement of Apostolic preaching, the fellowship of God's people, and the beautiful setting He created for our enjoyment.  As always, the staff at Sacramento are looking forward to our arrival and helping us make everything work out just right.  As always, the food is AMAZING!
Just to add some suspense, wait until you see the improvements and additions that have been made on the campground!  It is really nice!

If you or someone you know is planning to come to AMA 2014, please remind them that the

Registration Deadline is
Wednesday, May 14th

...and that is only 15 days away!

We are excited about what God will do this year.
Join us for a mountain top experience!

Excited About AMA 2012

Right now we are sitting down to a perfect lunch of grilled chicken sandwiches. We enjoyed bacon, eggs, cinnamon roll, and fruit bar this morning. A salad bar is available at every lunch and dinner. We feast like kings at Sacramento campground!

We spent last evening in the cool beauty of Sacramento, New Mexico. Today we are finalizing plans and looking at new recreation options available, including remote control cars and boats, foosball, and pedal carts! Of course Archery and Roller Skating are always very popular, and will be again this year.

As we stepped into the quiet of the chapel memories of the presence of the Lord immediately filled my mind. We have had a very special connection with the Lord at "A Mountain Apart" these last two years. The moments of eternal import have been innumerable. God has responded in every service and prayer meeting to the spiritual hunger of His people.

We will drive down the mountain today with great anticipation for the camp that will begin in only 24 days. Please don't miss it! If at all possible, make your way to Sacramento, NM and a mountain apart with Jesus.
