A Mountain Apart Apostolic Campmeeting
June 2 - 4, 2025
Sacramento, NM
Dear Friends,
We are getting very excited about AMA 2024. There is a feeling of expectation about what God will do among us as we seek His will on earth, as in heaven. As always, there are positive changes at the campground this year, and work in progress for more improvements to come in the next few years.
The registration deadline for AMA 2024 is Wednesday, May 15th. This will allow us to compile numbers for the campground at least two weeks before we arrive for camp.
If you intend to join us for A Mountain Apart 2024 and you have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible. If you know someone who is interested, please spread the word.
We are available by phone and email to answer questions and help you with the registration process. Please contact us at 505-573-1589 or amountainapart@gmail.com
AMA Registration is in full swing! We are looking forward to all the Lord will do among us on the mountain this year June 3 - 5, 2024.
This is a reminder that all lodging is reserved when full payment is received at the PO Box in Roswell, NM. All instructions and mailing address are included on the registration forms, both electronic and paper.
If your chosen lodging is full when your payment is received, we will email you at the address you provide on your forms. If you are on the Forrest Lodge waiting list, we will contact you if you are moved into a Forrest Lodge room.
If you have questions about registration for AMA 2024, you can contact us at 505-573-1589 or amountainapart@gmail.com
Dear Friends,
Due to a family wedding and travel, the registration for AMA 2024 will not open until Friday, March 15th. In the meantime, please know that registration prices and procedures will be the same as 2023. More information can be found on the Registration page of this blog. Thank you for your patience. We look forward to seeing you at AMA 2024!
Dear AMA friends,
It looks like we will be enjoying some mountain rain showers next week! There is about a 50% chance of rain showers each day of camp this year. Please be prepared for cooler temperatures in Sacramento, NM, with highs around 70 degrees and lows around 50 degrees. Layers or light jackets may be desired. Umbrellas or rain ponchos might be useful as well, especially if you plan to participate in activities. Please note: all rooms/dorms have heaters that are still operational in June!
We will be heading up the mountain with great expectation of what the Lord will do at AMA 2023. Please help us pray for a great campmeeting move of the Holy Ghost!

Dear AMA friends,
We are praying and seeking the Lord for His work to be done among us at A Mountain Apart 2023. Next Wednesday, May 17th, is the registration deadline. If you or someone you know is planning to come to AMA and has not yet registered, please help us spread the word about registering online before next Wednesday. At this time, anyone registering should register for Ayers-Laity dorms. There is plenty of room for youth campers and families. Even if you are not sending payment yet, we need you to register as soon as possible.
Also, if you have registered but are NOT coming to camp, we need to know. This is all to help us get accurate counts to the campground for the sake of meal planning and recreation staff.
Thank you for all your timely registration information. We will be in contact over the next couple of weeks if there are questions or clarifications about your registration or lodging.
Please help us pray for a might move of the Holy Ghost on the mountain this year!
Dear AMA Friends,
If you are still planning to register for AMA 2023, please note that Forrest Lodge, Aspen Lodge, and Family Life Center are FULL and have waiting lists for changes/cancellations. Please help us pray for the blessings of the Lord on A Mountain Apart 2023!
There is still room at AMA 2023. You may register for Ayers-Laity rooms, RV space, or even tent camping (shower facilities are available).
The Ayers-Laity dorms can accommodate adults and families. The youth campers at AMA occupy one wing in each of these dorms. Adults and families staying in Ayers-Laity will NOT be in the same halls as the youth campers. Each wing can be closed off and has its own doors and staircases for entry/exit.
Each family unit has their own private room and share a Men's/Women's restroom facility with a few other family groups in the same wing. The restroom facilities are in each wing, just a few doors down from any sleeping room. Each restroom has several sinks, toilet stalls, and shower nooks.
Please contact us with further questions at aMountainApart@gmail.com or 505-573-1589.
Dear AMA Friends,
You will find registration and electronic forms updated as of March 1st, 2023. Please carefully read all information and instructions. Please take note of the following:
We are excited about a great time of spiritual renewal at AMA 2023. Important information for your planning purposes:
Dear AMA Friends,
As you may be aware, wildfires have devastated national forests in New Mexico this year. As a preventive measure the US Forest service is closing our national forests for the next few months.
Sacramento Camp is still OPEN. It is surrounded by Lincoln National Forest, but it is privately owned and operated. All state and county roads leading to the campground will remain open as well. We look forward to a great time in the Lord on the mountain next month.
Dear AMA friends,
If you have not yet made contact about registration for AMA 2022, please email amountainapart@gmail.com to inquire about space.
The only lodging still available is in Laity dorm, with private sleeping rooms and shared bathroom facilities in each wing.
There are also RV spaces still available.
Due to the limited space and the need to verify all registrations and lodging assignments, registration for AMA 2022 will close on Friday, May 13th. Please make contact by Friday if you have not already registered and sent payment.
If you have already registered, you have a room! If you were on a waiting list for a specific dorm, we will verify your lodging by email during the week of May 23rd.
See you on the mountain soon!
Dear AMA friends,
As the lodges quickly fill up on the mountain in Sacramento, NM, please be aware that there is still space at AMA 2022.
We want to clarify the lodging in Ayers/Laity. Each of these lodges can sleep over 100 people in separate rooms of 5 or 6 beds each. Adults and families staying in Ayers/Laity will NOT be in the same halls as the youth campers.
The youth campers at AMA occupy only one wing in each of these dorms. Each wing can be closed off and has its own doors and staircases for entry/exit.
The rest of these Ayers/Laity rooms are for adults and families. Each family unit has their own room and share a Men's/Women's restroom facility with a few other family groups in the same wing. The restroom facilities are in each wing, just a few doors down from any sleeping room. Each restroom has several sinks, toilet stalls, and shower nooks.
We hope this might clarify the situation for adults and families staying in Ayers/Laity lodge. Please contact us with further questions at aMountainApart@gmail.com or 505-573-1589.
Dear AMA Friends,
If you are still planning to register for AMA 2022, please note that Forrest Lodge, Aspen Lodge, and Family Life Center are FULL and have waiting lists for changes/cancellations.
There is still room at AMA 2022! You may register for Ayers rooms, RV space, or even tent camping (shower facilities are available). In Ayers, each family unit has their own room in a separate wing from the youth campers. Men's/Women's restroom facilities are conveniently located in each hall.
Please help us pray for the blessings of the Lord on AMA 2022.
There has been some confusion about how to register youth campers (age 12 - 30, single, never married).
If a youth camper is attending WITH immediate family members, they can be included in the lodging and meal numbers WITH their family. They are still welcome to bunk in the youth dorms (and should bring their bedding for that purpose). They do not need a separate registration.
If a youth camper is attending WITHOUT immediate family members (or is no longer a dependent), they should register for Ayers dorm (one person) and their total cost, including meals, will be $230.
We hope this helps clarify. Please email with questions: aMountainApart@gmail.com or call 505-573-1589.
Dear AMA Friends,
Registration is now open for A Mountain Apart 2022. All the information can be found on the Registration tab and posted below:
Registration for AMA 2022 will open Tuesday, March 1st.
Registration forms will be available as printable PDF on this blog, and an electronic registration form will also be available this year for more efficient registration.
Rooms will be reserved when a completed signature page and full payment have been received at the PO Box in Roswell, NM. Thank you for your support of "A Mountain Apart". We are looking forward to a great move of the Holy Ghost on the mountain in 2022.
Dear AMA friends,
We are all so thankful for the blessings of the Lord on AMA 2021. Many of you have asked to receive information about AMA 2022. The easiest way to do that is to subscribe to this blog content by email. If you have already done so, you will continue to receive the updates by email through a new service (follow.it) as the old service (Feedburner) is being discontinued.
"A Mountain Apart" 2021 is just around the corner. We anticipate a great work of the Holy Ghost as we gather in the mountains starting Monday, June 7. Here are a few details we would like to share to help you prepare for campmeeting next week:
Dear AMA Friends,
We are prayerfully anticipating a great time of fellowship with the Lord and with one another on the mountain next month!
The registration deadline for AMA 2021 has passed. If you are planning to come to A Mountain Apart Campmeeting June 7 - 9 but have not yet registered and sent payment, please email amountainapart@gmail.com with the number of guests and their ages.
Thank you! See you soon!
Thank you for praying!
Otero County, NM (which includes Sacramento) has gone into a less restrictive category with the NM covid regulations and is likely to change to the least restrictive category next week. This will allow 100% occupancy of the dorms! We recently made a planning visit to the campground and they are posting and abiding by all mask rules among the staff but are leaving those choices to each individual guest.
This post is to inform you that Forrest Lodge and Aspen Lodge are FULL.
You may still indicate that you would like to be on a waiting list for those dorms, but please register for Ayers dorm if you have not already sent your money and registration forms.
If you are planning to come to AMA but have not sent money or registration forms yet, please contact us by email: amountainapart@gmail.com
We are looking forward to seeing God's people "a mountain apart" to pray and seek the Lord. We are confident and so thankful that He will meet us there.
We have received an update that we can now put non-related guests in the same dorm room.
Please continue to register all related persons together on a family form and make note of youth campers who would like to stay in youth dorms.
If you would like to share a room with someone not related to you, that is now allowed. Please complete a Family/Adult registration form for each family group or individual and make note of the people who will plan to stay together.
When a dorm is full according to current occupancy limits, we will continue to take registrations for the waiting list. If occupancy limits change, we will then be able to place people from the waiting list in the desired dorm. You will have a place to stay regardless!
Don't forget to complete the Camp Waiver for each person 18 and older. Minor children can be listed on a Camp Waiver together with a parent or parent signatures.
Please contact with questions: amountainapart@gmail.com
Dear AMA friends,
We know there are many questions about the lodging and activity restrictions at the Sacramento campground. Please understand that these regulations are likely to change in the next couple months. Each county is given a rating update every two weeks and the rating system is being revised this month as more than one third of NM residents have been vaccinated against COVID-19. The Sacramento campground staff have committed to work with us to provide the best camp experience possible under whatever guidelines are in effect when we arrive in June.
We simply cannot predict what the lodging rules will be in June, therefore, the most effective way to register for AMA at this time is by family units. As we get closer to camp we will be able to make more informed decisions about dorm placement for teens and young adults. The goal is to have a registration process that can be flexible as things change.
We hope this helps answer some questions and alleviate some concerns. We are looking forward to a great time on the mountain with God's people!
Feel free to send questions to amountainapart@gmail.com or call 505-573-1589
The forms and information for AMA 2021 are now posted on the Forms page!
Please note: Due to NM Department of Health regulations currently in place, there are some changes to campground operations and the registration forms and process. Please read all forms carefully and reach out with questions: amountainapart@gmail.com
Please help us pray that regulations on campground operations will continue to ease as we get closer to June!
We are determined to meet for "A Mountain Apart" 2021 and they are determined to accommodate us one way or another. The Lord has great things in store!
Dear AMA Friends,
Thank you for your patience as we prepare for AMA 2021. We know that many people are looking forward to this year and we apologize that there has been some delay in getting complete information. We are working closely with the Sacramento campground and things are looking good! Registration forms will be on this blog by March 30. If you would like us to email the registration forms to you, please send us a message: amountainapart@gmail.com
Due to current NM DOH regulations, guests can stay only with members of their immediate family. Please plan to pay registration fees that include all members of an immediate family in the same lodging.
Please do not send any payment until registration forms are completed after March 30th.
We look forward to seeing you soon on the mountain!
(departing June 10th)
