General Information for AYC 2011

AYC 2011

Camp will begin Monday evening, June 6th and continue through Wednesday evening, June 8th, 2011. Pastor Julio May of Memphis, TN will be preaching in the three evening services. Pastor Steve Buxton of Chula Vista, CA will preach in the two day services.


LOCATION

The campground is situated in the Sacramento Mountains in the heart of the Lincoln National Forest. Summer high temperatures average in the upper 80’s, with lows in the 40’s each evening.


RECREATION

Daily recreation options include indoor and outdoor volleyball and basketball, horseshoes, tetherball, kickball/wuffleball, disc golf, roller skating, archery, hiking, table tennis, catch and release fishing (barbless hooks only; must bring your own equipment).  There will be a snack bar and campfire (weather permitting) following the service each evening.


CAMPERS

Youth campers and adults ages 12-30 who are single with no children may stay in youth dorms. All others are welcome and encouraged to attend. Lodging is available for families and adults of all ages.


REGISTRATION

Pre-registration is required to accommodate meal planning at the campground. All prices include three nights lodging and meals beginning with Monday supper and ending with Thursday breakfast. Please see the Registration Forms for prices. Payment should be sent with registration forms by Friday, May 20th.
